people always say that its always better to have a soulmate than to have many acquaintances.
sure, this sounds like the ideal kind of platonic relations but how achievable or attainable is this?
im sure people find it difficult to resist making new frens, but yet there would definitely be times when you feel alone, depressed and all but where is your soulmate? and undoubtedly, the acquaintances don't quite come into our minds.

recently, life has been kinda bleak.
it feels like theres no motivation, no goal..
and im just pursuing stuff aimlessly..
not that i have nothing to do, but probably i dunno where to begin.
i dun feel like beginning.
and i dunno why.

okay that was until i went baq to the tuition ctr to help out for a few days.
and i sorta felt renewed.
they remember me.
like wad i least expected,
kids really do make ppl smile.

sometyms i rli wonder why in every stage of life,
we fall prey to society's yardstick.
okay, thats prolly too much of sociology but what is right or wrong is largely defined by society.
and as we grow up, we kip to ourselves more..
we unknowingly, most of the tym, buy into materialism.
we become more self-conscious,
we are not ourselves in front of others anymore,
we take on more social roles,
and we become more complex.

i guess sometyms things that we learn really apply to our daily lives.
i mean not just literally, but figuratively.
i just realised econs could be linked to.. relationships?
all thanks to my humorous lecturer.
what we learnt in j1 as marginal utility cost was merely drinking more of coke and getting less satisfaction with each extra can.
now wad i learn is that it has been statistically proven that relationships usually last only 7 years?
and my econs teacher actually gave credit to the marginal utility rule?
like the first date would give you maximum satisfaction but gradually,
it gets lesser til 7 years later when ppl start to quarrel, they start getting the post marginal utility syndrome and there is no satisfaction anymore.
lol.
he can get rli hilarious.
and he even said that unless within 7 years youre bound by a treaty which states 'til death do we go to hell together', only then will a couple sustain.
but emotionally?

anyhows, sometyms i suppose we havta cherish the lil' things in life. (:
i suppose.
yeah. and so it isnt that bad being so free.
having difficulty making frens cus there're only lects.
or even doing sth different.
cus i must noe that ive already walked out of the 'normal' path since.. last year?

prata with chee was qt fun.. :D
night outings are fun. lol.
and i feel happy for chee.
hahah. she's gg to kill me when she sees this.(which i doubt she will anw)
