2nd last day at nhg.
the last time i tot my contract was ending a mth ago,
i was so eager to count down everyday,
and whenever the number fell,
there was an exponential change in my mood.

however, this time round,
counting down seems so hard.
been so used to waking up b4 7.
been so happy working with the HR dept,
so used to their culture,
the people, my desk, the compactors, and even my access card (w/o my name ;p)

work's ending soon.
yet i feel even more empty.
would i still be friends with all of them?
now that its time to really leave,
it feels kinda sad.

got a pleasant surprise when yen ling and poh sim presented me with their thoughtful gifts.

i just hope the medical team liked wad i got them too.
its rare to see us having meals/outings together,
the first time was at some indonesian restaurant in some hotel for dr. daniel goh's farewell,
now its my farewell at thai express.
hopefully it wont be the last. :)
ironic thing was we both turned up for each other's farewell w/o knowing each other.
lol.

time to event blog a little. :)

nhg hr dept had a mini dept breakfast on monday,

cos of lovely karen tan's farewell.

took qt a few pics. :)

had lunch with karen alison and lipeng at crystal jade.

sometimes i just feel so lucky being a temp there.

haha.

then went down to buy tix to support tong after work.

and went to cel chee dear's bday with peggy mich and jerry.

lol. :)

hope she enjoyed her day.

was late for work so tried to cab down to commonwealth today.

after flagging for abt twenty mins,

there was finally one cab that didnt have any passengers!

and when i got on, the uncle went on abt how his daughters are accomplished,

how he was driving for leisure,

and went on tat he used to work in indonesia and how many girls had fallen for him.

and he started talking abt a domestic maid he had who professed her fondness to him.

the maid apparently was only sixteen.

and he said he allowed her to do anything with/to him but slp.

ahh!!

RA!

so scary!

his poor wife..

sigh.

after work was esprimere.

got our club tee today! :)

went dinner with estella our beautiful instructor joining us. :)

cam-whoring can be fun at times! :))

good news: granny's discharged from hospital!

a big thank you to kaitian darryl huiching tecksheng weichee for visiting her,

and also to those who prayed/sent her their regards! :)

been running abt so much cos its super diff to juggle work, hospital, esprimere especially everything's so packed considering all these happened after i came baq from hk.

caught the flu bug yet agn..

now my voice sucks!

went sitong's house sing and sigh... sigh....... i need my voice baq!!! :'(

also been taking cab so much!! ahhhhhh!

broke. lol.

took a one hour long cab from bishan to commonwealth that day cos the driver lost his way!

on top of being late,

the meter went up to 26 bucks! omg..

i was so shocked beyond words...

luckily he didnt charge me the full amt.

time really flies.

results are gna be out rli soon thou i dont anticipate that.

work's gna end by this friday.

gna miss those nice sweet ppl ard the office.

and my ever-messy table. :b

nhg is not too bad a place to be in actually. (this is a highlight for lrj. :b )

met a colleague who shared with me her thoughts on yoga and how it is a cult.

she warned me that we were worshipping the snake god..

kinda freaky.

but guess il jus have to continue on..

i mean.. theres always two sides to a coin. :)

cant wait for monday! :)

back from my hk trip :)

prices are getting steeper,
rained the whole day in disney,
saw jj at the airport!

nothing has changed much from last yr,
probably only the pirateland in disney.
took a picture with depp-lookalike!
hes so cute!
wil post up pics when ive more time.. :)

didnt manage to get anything much..
besides wife's biscuits and some cookies..

school's starting soon,
to be frank, i wish i would never get my results back..
kinda scared.

and the most miserable thing struck.
granny was admitted to hospital..
its just so heart-wrenching.
i cannot focus at work.
i tear when i see her.
and vice versa.
i try to visit her before and after work.
i know she needs me thr.
yet deep down,
i know she doesnt like to in any way trouble others.

granny, ive never seen you so weak..

please get well soon..

happy birthday singapore! :))
kit chan rocks, seriously.
lol..

nothing much to update these days, honestly.
life's just mundane, yet im exhausted, ironic isnt it.

work work work, out, esprimere, yoga..
and on top of that, not being able to balance my life..

yet work's getting better,
which im thankful for,
though more xiong than lrj in another dept,
cant rli post many pics cos wenfu doesnt wna burn for me :b

then thrs the accts which im trying to handle,
and the exco to which i feel so sorry abt and beginning to feel more estranged from..

yoga which helps but not so at tyms when fatigue is all over..
yet, life's ok, qt good..
made new frens..

on the other hand,
sometimes feel qt inferior..
in many many aspects..

gg hk next wk,
heard the weather's super hot..
lets hope il enjoy this break :)
